2:17 pm - Lousy Company
I'm so pissed off. I had to shell out some money to pay for a driver's toll (as a favor to an officemate) because apparently our secretary had no petty cash whatsoever. The f*ck! What does that say about my company?

8:39 am - Back to the Gym
I went to the gym after a three-week break and afterwards I just want to curl up in bed and go to sleep. But no, I have to go to work. Good thing my team leader and manager are missing in action so I could just laze around doing nothing... Hurrah! :)

Our trip to Puerto Galera went bust! But that's ok. :)

My parents might be taking my sister and I to Europe this October. Hurrah! I can't wait to surf online and see what deals I can get.

Updated!
I've been reading about Europe, just starting with Rome and I'm already getting a headache with the information overload!!! Waaah!!!

8:18 pm - Training
We are currently having fellow FIGC support engineers for a BX600 server trainings and they were such a blast to hang out with. We went to Food Choices in Glorietta 4 earlier and we made them take a jeep with us going to and fro. When we got off at the office they said it was so much fun. Hahaha.

10:09 pm - Amazing Race 7 Season Finale
If that don't beat it all, Uchenna and Joyce won the Amazing Race!!! It was the best episode ever! I am amazed at the couple's inner fortitude. They deserve it big time.

I would say more about Rob and Amber but two words sum up their outcome... COSMIC KARMA.

8:45 pm - Off to Puerto Galera
I may be going with my officemates to Puerto Galera this weekend of May14. I already bought shades for the occasion. Now, I only need to lose a few pounds to look good in my bathing suit. Teehee. Cereal drinks and yogurt here I come! :)

10:35 am - Back to Work...
So I'm back at work again after my 'bout of tonsilitis. I still look kinda sickly and I still feel a catch in my throat but basically my fever is gone and I don't feel difficulty swallowing anymore. I still hate to do field work today because the weather here in Manila is basically sweltering hot.

I promised myself that I will go back to the gym on Monday after my two-week hiatus. It would be fun to get life back on track. I've been falling from life far too many times but it's ok. It's the fact that I still have the initiative to get back on that's the important thing right?

I miss my mommy and daddy. I wish they come home. :(

5:56 pm - Hell of a week...
Maybe its just me but I've been really tired from all the field work lately. Ever since I got back in the office after a one-year stint at Digitel (I was working directly at Digitel Libis), I've been really lazy and just wanted to sit around in the office, doing nothing and basically surfing the net. It was only recently (which actually coincided with my promotion) that I realized that I should learn to love my job and that doing field work is primarily what being a Hardware Systems Engineer is all about. But heck, the work takes toll on my gym schedule. I need to get my gym time done in the morning so that I wouldn't worry whether I can't be back come 6ish for a gym in the early evening. This week, I've only gone to the gym once. God, it was so pathetic.

Anyways, pardon the incessant blabbering. I'm currently working on a case as well so I just sneaked this update.

Bye!

7:45 pm - Scenes from the Salon
I had my scheduled haircut and hotoil session at my favorite salon and witnessed quite a few unusual scenes.

There was these couple of girls who had their hairs blow-dried because they were meeting up with chatfriends in an EB at Cafe Lupe in Guadalupe (yes I was eavesdropping, sue me.. hehe). I was silently laughing my arse off because they were talking about people using their handles... tipong... uhmm, di ko pa natetext si cutiepinay kung pupunta sya eh. Man, what a trip! I was reminiscing about the time I was also completely addicted to chatting. I've met a lot of people and through it gained a few true friends (Ate Noks, Chris and Chrissie). I do regret not making more effort of getting together but I know that when a time comes that we'll get to hang-out together, it would be just like old times. You know that you have transgressed from being chat friends to true friends if when you talk to each other, you rarely talk about the chat scene anymore.

And then, there were these couple of highschool teens who were obviously mag-"ON". I am very quite familiar with the scene coming from an all-girls highschool and man, mag-"ON" couple really lay on the public-display-of-affection thing thick. It was funny because the supposed "guy" in the relationshop sports a typical "crush-ng-bayan" look --- short hair, jeans-shirt-sneakers attire, basta one look and you would know that she is really popular in their highschool. The surprise was the "girl". She was chubby and is wearing a colorful headband (do they still call them headbands? or turbans?) on her hair. When I was in highschool, the crush-ng-bayan "guys" had really good-looking ka-"ON"s. It was weird but I know that most of those relationships are there only for popularity's sake and companionship. Most of them do grow out of this stage.

So there! My hair is all short and shiny and I was actually amused the whole time that I was at the salon. Hip hip, hurrah! :)

4:03 pm - Project Kick-off Random Thoughts
Currently I'm in a meeting right now. I am sitting here thinking what the heck am I doing here?

I love Brian and Greg from AR7. The surfer boys are such cuties. A bit sloppy but still equally yum.

Had a dream about Archie, my crush former crush from Digitel. Kakilig. Hehehe.

Come up with a template for: a)Site Visit (initial inspection); b)Server Specifications; c)Hardware Acceptance

I have to admire CA's Project Manager. She is really good. I think I would like that job. :)

4:10 pm - Big Update!!
I haven't posted in such a long while, and here am I staring at the screen wondering what to say to recap what has happened to me for so long. Phew.

Work last week sucked bigtime. I was on-call for this last half of March and had to go on a fault call last Monday night which ended up at around 5am the next morning already.

I wasn't able to go on a vacation this Holy Week because I was on-call. Which isn't bad since I never go out of town during this season. Holy Week is the perfect time to stay in the city and bum around, forgetting all diet and exercise... teehee.

We bought a PS2 and I am currently addicted to The Sims Bustin' Out.

I took my sick leave twice these past two weeks and I wasn't even sick. *evil smile*

I haven't gone to the gym in the last two days!

IT IS SO DAMN FRIGGIN' HOT IN MANILA!!! I can't go anywhere without taking a taxi!!!

Thank you for reading my senseless post. *bow*

8:44 am - Work-Week
Oh God, another work-week. I am so darn lazy to go to work. Good thing I got a client call today so I don't have any reason to sleep in today.

I got the pictures from Daet. God, I'm such a fatty. Gotta start eating healthier again. I've been on a permanent leave from dieting for six months already... hehe, and it's starting to show.

I was so sleepy during gym today. The DVD players at the gym are busted so I had to make do with cable TV. I watched CNN to catch up on current events.

Ok back to pretending to work.

11:18 am - CDO-Camiguin and Antonio's Tagaytay
Just as my sunburnt skin is starting to peel, my friend Annie (who was with us at Daet) texted me if we (Mikel and I) wanted to come with them to a week-long vacation at Cagayan de Oro and Camiguin. I don't know why but suddenly, I am all vacationed-out. I even don't want to go through with the thing with my office friends in Galera on April. And man, the hole in my pocket has been burned through and through the I went to the office with my coin purse money as my ONLY money. Shucks, how sad is that.

Anyways, typical OC that I am, I came up with an estimated expense plan if ever the CDO-Camiguin trip pushes through. But it still costs too much. There is currently no airfare promo so transpo costs are too much (PhP4k one-way). I told Annie that we have ot pass on the Camiguin trip. October maybe? Airfare prices drop to 40% during October. :)

I was also browsing through Friendster and saw that Annie has new pictures taken at Antonio's Tagaytay. I suddenly wanted to eat there. Hehe. Inggit ba? Everything was so yum! The foie gras, the sea bass, the scallops, the oysters, the lamb cutlets and most of all... THE RIBEYE! But everything was also oh-so-expensive. I have to shell out at least PhP1.5k per person so that we could eat there... hmmm, maybe June?

That's about it. I still have a lot of things to catch up on and my journaling skills suck but what the heck, an update is an update right?

Ciao!

9:14 pm - Back to Square One
I just got home after quite a long time (a 3-day vacation in Daet and a week-long training session in Subic) and it seems that I am a little disoriented. I just don't have a grasp on things lately and I am too lazy to try to catch up. Well, I guess this is my contribution to catching up when it comes to writing on this journal but I feel as if I am letting you down because I have so many things to say but too little enthusiasm left to write about.

Gotta catch up... gotta catch up.

3:54 pm - Majorly Pissed
I'm so pissed off at work. A series of unfortunate lead me to situation that I really hate. I am supposed to be ready to go to Daet later but noooooooo, I have to attend a fault call that would make me really late or miss my bus going to Daet. F*ck, f*ck, f*ck.

Sometimes, I wish I just have a job where I have regular hours. 8-5. That simple. Hayyy. I really need to change jobs... tsk tsk.

11:06 am - Here I come.. Daet???
It's official! My friends and I will be going to Daet, Camarines Norte this long weekend. You may ask yourself, what is there is to see in Daet? First of all, there is Bagasbas Beach, ten minutes away from the town proper and is a very nice beach to learn to surf. The sand is gray but very fine, as an officemate told me.

Apuao Grande Island, is a 45-minute banca ride from Mercedes, which is a 15-min jeepney ride from Daet. The sand is white and the beach is perfect for swimming or snorkelling.

Mananap falls is accessible after a three-hour trek and perfect for a refreshing dip.

I never knew that Daet has these wonderful places. I thought before that I would go crazy spending a 3-day trip but now I think three days is not enough. :)
